What is the policy for sponsoring a Green Card at Apple and Tesla? Is there a waiting period or the process can start from day one?

At Apple I asked after 3 months and my manager started it immediately. I don't know the policy at Tesla, but I suspect they can start immediately as well. This is something you can confirm with the recruiters.

You need to ask for in Tesla. I think your manager has to initiate the process.

U can always negotiate with ur manager to process it from day one.
