USCIS is finally catching up on H1Bs. The next biggest fraud is happening on L1A to EB1C. See below table to make sense of how much GCs EB1C is taking up over the years. One can also highlight many cases of misuse/misrepresentation in the PWD and PERM process of EB2 and EB3. I would suggest not to open the can of worms!! Agree that the process is not full-proof but there are genuine cases of managers and execs waiting patiently and following the process. While I empathise with your frustration, pls do not pin hopes on EB1 spillover. Rather country-cap and having no immigration reform for so long, is the real issue. Even with the kind of ‘genuine’ EB1 current numbers in the queue(for India and ROW), you can hardly get any spillovers. So choose your battles wisely!

Honestly eb1 and eb2 supposed to be highly exceptional queue. I expect majority of applicant, like 99.99%, to have a legit US degree. But that's not the case. Corporate lobby and government revenue depends on it and so the outcomes are fraudulent and unfair. Applicants are the victims of corporate visa fraud. Banning and sanctioning companies & it's executives is the only right answer but that won't happen because US rewards capitalism and executives.
So basically you want nobody to get GCs in EB1 so that those numbers can spill over to your category and you get greened…lol.. heights of greed man, I am alarmed to see that you won’t even mind ruining others for your benefit, you want people to report already issued GCs as-well, how low someone can stoop. Remember H1 or L1 they immigrate for a reason and have families and you want to destroy few of them..
Exactly the opposite! All the deserved EB1s to get it faster and give the rest to others.
So you will decide eligibility, lol.. if you are eligible why don’t you apply for.. point is you are greedy and only want your benefit and can go to any extent to spread the hate.. what if an American does the same for H1B and call it fraud?? You would not even be here.. don’t hate your own people, show some empathy dude.. and be open to the fact that everyone have their own special abilities and you are not just the one with and call everything that doesn’t suit your narrative a fraud.

Who told you NIW is fraud? It’s a very rigorous process similar to EB1-A.
I did NIW, i had 20 patents, 80 citations and speak 4-6x a year on recognized international conferences. Where is fraud here?
The what-about-ism is strong in this thread. So because there are fake asylum seekers from LATAM it’s ok for south Asians to abuse the H1? Fun fact, a lot of people from India have also caught up on the asylum seeking route and claim persecution when it’s not real. Let’s all accept the system is broken and abuses need to be discovered and fixed instead of blaming other groups for the same behavior.
Can we investigate how many fraud cases per country and deduct the numbers from per country quotas every year? Like some groups always say they want fair GC, this sounds very fair to me.

All these frauds make lives of rule following, law abiding ex-pats harder.
Simple fix : @USCIS please put our SSNs or Passport numbers as unique identifiers to prevent duplication of applications.
Funniest part is everyone thinks they are the only eligible one to get greened.. lol, rest of folks are just useless immigrants, while they themselves might have submitted multiple H1B and tried scamming the system.. 😂
Have you heard of the story about two cats fighting over a piece of roti/bread and a monkey eats all of the bread? The real problem here is two groups fighting over a crappy set of rules. The country quotas are archaic. So many of leftover GCs wasted. Fixing these will fix a lot of problems. They could reform the entire work visa situation. Clinton/Bush time, legal immigration was championed by both the parties. Slowly that disintegrated because Dems focused on illegal immigrants because of vote politics and Reps moved to close borders for everyone.

Let's be honest, the "leftover GCs" were never expected to be given out in the first place. Removing the country quotas would just see the number of GCs offered shrink.
Dude go to USA borders and see how many folks from South America enter illegally everyday and how easy it is for them to claim green card. Wait you don’t care coz they are low level labor and you have job insecurity with h1bs. Do some googling on title 42.. There is fraud and cheating in every policies created. In end it matters what benefits me or what bothers my progress and we ignore the rest..lol
Two wrongs don’t make a right. The people immigrating illegally know fully well that they’re looking forward to a lifetime of earning under the table, having no social security, and having restricted opportunities. If you’re immigrating legally, you’re afforded a plethora of privileges which is why it’s important to prosecute fraud.
“Asylum is a legal method of immigrating.” True but most of the people crossing the border illegally are economic migrants and there have been over 6 million crossings since 2021. A good portion of these people will receive greencards down the line even though a very small percentage of them deserve asylum.
