Joining workday a good move?
Been interviewing for workday and will likely get an offer. Is it a good company to join at senior with 7 yoe? What does going to next level look like given that there is no staff level? P5/P6 is probably closer to staff. Levels are different everywhere.
Yes thank you, so does it take more time to go from p4 to p5 n does this affect my career if I switch companies later? Also would you consider this a good company to work at growth n work life balance wise?
WLB is pretty great, depends on team. Growth, idk tbh. There’s things you can do, and some stuff is quite difficult to move. 50% RTO is required per quarter. Our new promotion policy is probably the worst thing I’ve ever heard of. They want like 3+ years in the role after p3+. It’s quite the bummer. If you want a promotion you basically need competing offers, or to boomerang.

For application development, workday uses their proprietary tech and then you'll go out of touch with what's happening in the world. If it's not application development workday is a pretty good company. In terms of culture workday is one of the very best. You can ask whether you'll be working on XO or not.
For career? No. For rest and vest, chill? Possible.

Why do you want to leave Apple to join Workday? There is no comparison when it comes to compensation and wlb.. Wlb in Workday has completely changed now after our new CEO came into power
