While on H-1B, Two week gap between employer when H-1B transfer is already approved- is it counted under 60 day grace period ? Last day with current employer A Jan 6th First day with new employer B - Jan 24th H-1B transfer approved for employer B from Dec 20 itself. Is the two week gap between above emp A and emp B counted as gap under 60 day graceor it’s not since H-1B is already approved before last day with current employer ? #h1b #workvisa

Jan 7th - Jan 23rd is all that matters for the grace period. You can have many H1b transfer approvals; they don’t matter until you are on the payroll for the company.
This is the reply I just received from one of the attorney at AVVO:- The two week gap between above emp A and emp B is Not counted as gap under 60 day grace. it’s not since H-1B is already approved before last day with current employer.

You are fine OP. Nothing to worry about.
Every time, between two H1bs, you get 60 day grace period. So it does not matter as long as it’s < 60 days. Days are not getting accrued
Hello folks, just as a follow up question..can you have multiple companies file H1B transfers for you and get approvals but later decide which company to join?
