My employer won't pay for premium processing. I have an option of doing so (1400$). Is it worth it? How does premium processing impact chances of getting through the lottery? Am I more likely to get an RFE? PS: I'm a recent graduate currently on OPT and this is a fresh H-1B application. (No transfer)
What’s your situation?
Edited OP
OP is this a transfer between 2 different companies? If yes, then pp is worth it. Otherwise, probably not if you have to pay out of pocket?
Edited Op
I would say optional, assuming ur OPT is stem based. You have runway before a sink or swim answer is needed( at which case I would opt for pp for added insurance)
OP, Check your DM.
Is the PP available for this year's h1 CAP ?
Yup
Are you sure? My lawyer said USCIS will make a separate announcement this week about it
USCIS is yet to confirm about FY2020 application, so hold your horses
Thanks for the clarification
Worth it for peace of mind. Just do it and breathe a sigh of relief when you get approved
Does the H1B transfer is available for premium processing even someone filed it today? When did USCIS announced that?
