H1-B visa stamping in New Delhi with scanned copy of I-797B

Hey guys, looking for some urgent help/opinion/experiences. I have my H1-B visa stamping in New Delhi early Feb (next month). My I-797B notice of approval has been somewhere misplaced in the exchange between our law firm and immigration team. I do have the scanned copy of the document, but should I go ahead with it or reschedule the appointment after getting its duplicate from USCIS. Any prior experiences will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! #h1b

If you want to risk it, You can schedule the interview with the copy but you would still need the original. I'd advice you to postpone if that's an option

I did the exact same and was totally fine. They have all the info online. You should be fine.

I went withouth the original they didnt care. There is no way to know if the document given to you is original or a reprinted one. Just get good printout of the document.

Are you nuts? The original is on bond paper. The color print out can't match it. Sure, they might not ask for it, but they sure can detect the fake/copy

Should be fine

No need for a scanned or original copy, they have all the information online. I wasn't even asked for one in my last interview.

Cancel ur trip. Apply for a duplicate i797. Also ask your attorneys. Anything else is risky.
