Anyone going through H1B visa transfer with Amazon and specifically with Farrell Llc? Mine started 2 months ago, still not files. Too slow. Is this normal, doesn't seem to be.
I have heard about Fragomen & BAL as third party law firm for Amazon, but haven’t heard about Farrell
They are in Canada also know by DGI law
Not normal AFAIK. Mine case initiation was on 5/13, and no sign of application being filled up to today. They said 6 weeks since case initiation, which is like 2 weeks 3 days from now. I am escalating this to Onboarding team as my start date is early July.
True
this is crazy
I’m on the same boat, they initiated on June 1st, and I provided all the documentation by 3rd (in 2days). Now it’s been 2weeks, no response from them inspite of multiple emails from me requesting eta. 2 months is way too long just to file. Do they get paid for the number of days/hours they work? If so the longer they take, the more money they get, nonsense!
In the same boat right now with Farrell. They did file after 2 months, but now I got an RFE.
Mine is about to be filed, after about 6 weeks, and I am also concerned about a RFE (or worse a denial). What’s your RFE reason, degree, and role? Mine is DE role and I have no engineering degree.
Specialty occupation. Mine is a BIE and I have a degree in Analytics. But my undergrad engineering was in a core non-tech field.
How’s the handling of your RFE so far? Mine just got filed finally, and I am worried about getting an RFE too.
How long did it take overall with filing and RFE? Any tips/suggestions to make the process go faster?
How firms amz is working with? I see there are so many
