Hello all, I am a British citizen working for a small US company with some very good lawyers. I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science from a top UK university and have worked at big tech companies in Europe/UK like Microsoft, Cisco. I was wondering, do these factors make me more likely to get granted an H1B visa in the lottery? If so, how likely is it? Or is it truly random?
It’s random but if you have lots of years of experience at top companies, you might qualify for O1
No, lots of years dont matter in O1. Doing exceptional work unique R and D that no one has done, with your name as an expert in US and at global levels qualified.
The only thing that can change your odds is having a masters from a US university
The masters CAP is ONLY for folks with US masters?
No other countries masters is acceptable? UK, Australia?

It’s truly random.
