Hey guys, I got the RFE on my H1B on June 30th. I am a SWE at a small company around 10 people. Am working with the employer’s law team to file the documents. If I file this using PP before July 30th, would I be able to get it approved before Oct 1st, if everything went well? Anyone here had experienced this before?
Why do people want to get PP on an RFE? Unless it's blocking a transfer, you're paying extra to be deported faster. If it gets approved it doesn't matter. If it gets denied don't you prefer to have the extra time?
This is a good point. I didn’t think about getting deported since I am currently on OPT STEM extension (2 years left). I was told that a RFE can take up to 3 - 6 months which will push the start date of H1B & cut the total period of H1B as well. This is why I wanted to file it as PP :)
The tech economy in Toronto is growing faster than the tech economy in Silicon Valley and Washington (state), and a lot of people think it’s because of USCIS and USA’s immigration policies like this. If trend continues like this, days aren’t far that best talents in the world will ditch American dream to go some reasonable land.
I moved to the US from Canada for the much higher comp. Let me know when I can go home.
This is also a good point. Yes, I am also thinking of applying jobs in Canada for those reasons.

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
If you change it to PP and send the response, USCIS will have to make the final decision within 15 calendar days from the say your response reach them. Yes, you will get the decision before Oct 1st
