My H1B was picked in the lottery and the status was changed to RFE a few days ago. I have a PhD in chemistry and now work as a software engineer. So I guess the RFE will be about how my degree is related to my job? Anyone successfully defend this kind of RFE? Edit: no trolling please
Ldo that’s old news. It doesn’t explode anymore. They want to see something new and ground breaking
May be bury the exploding phones in ground. It could become Earth shattering 😂😂
Astro Based on your suggestion they tried burying the new Samsung devices especially galaxy note 9. The result: the earth didn’t shatter as phones aren’t explode anymore :(
How many years of software engineering experience do you have?
OP's last message should be entered into h1b policies, guidelines etc. SW field can have people from so many backgrounds that it is almost meaningless to issue RFE.
I had a friend who’s h1b got rejected after a similar situation. But when the lawyers appealed, they added much more useful information to the docs submitted. Just contact your lawyers and be in sync with them and tell them you want to provide additional information for your case to show how your other experience is relevant and ask what all docs you can look for
“I work at apple, to ensure the chemicals in ur battery don’t explode like Samsung. The software I design controls and warns. Grant me visa or may god help you.”
I like it 😃
