H1B Transfer denial - Speciality occupation RFE
Change of employer H1B denied after RFE. Filing was done under premium processing and RFE was received for speciality occupation. Position applied to Global Supply Manager Apple. Does anyone have prior experience? What are the possible next steps, given that premium is not available until next year.
When did they file? I thought premium is not available for change of employer until February 2019
I went back home after visa transfer denial. Applied for another visa and came back. Your 1st few weeks will not be great! But, u can get back to the US on a new visa application within 3-4 months as premium processing is suspended. Else, u can ask for transfer to another country like UK for a similar role till ur new visa gets approved. U can apply for same visa again with a different job title and stay in UK or home country till ur visa is approved. U can stay as unpaid employee if you are going to home country (depends on ur company policy)
That's terrible. What are the lawyers advising ?
Pack up and go back home. Not end of the world. But more important is whether “Global Supply Manager” a speciality feild or not? It does not appear to be highly technical, why can’t a local be hired for this job by Apple.
Lol. Why is any field termed as speciality field anyway? Aren’t there enough locals to fill in all the positions ever required by any company in the US? Why do they even hand out h1b’s? US has enough people to fill in all positions, right?
