H1B: joining next company after layoff, but before termination date?
MSFT after layoff gives 60 days to find a job and keeps you on payroll. Severance and shares are only paid if you don't get a job in those 60 days. If you do then they wont pay. I am on H1 and might get a job soon. Is there a way the MSFT will learn about this if next company do a H1B transfer? or any other way msft will learn about this.
I think severance is paid regardless of if you find a job within 60 days or not.
This. Except if you join MSFT again in the 60 day window. Usually that’s how it is. Better check with HR again.
