I don’t have a graduate degree from USA. Have undergrad from India. Is it possible to get H1B stamped from Vancouver or anywhere in Canada? Anyone in similar situation, got it done from Canada? Anyone got H1B stamped from Vancouver recently? How long did it take to get the visa done? TC: 300k YOE: 10
Yes, you can get your visa stamped at any of the US consulates in canada. I got it done at Vancouver. Pretty straightforward process, i was in and out of the place in 20 mins. The passport was recieved in mail after 3 days. In case you don’t have a local address, you can use the one of the Canada post location to hold the mail. I don’t think having a US degree helps in visa process, as long you have required h1b docs
Thanks for the information
How much was the wait time for booking appointment?
If you are doing a contracting job maybe think again- someone I know has been asked additional docs one after another for 5 months so far
I am not doing contract work, am full time employee.
I got my H1B stamped at the peace arch border. It was fairly straight forward, took less than 10 minutes.
Peace arch does h1b visas?
Also you have a degree from USA?
