H1B transfer

Asking for a friend..... what are the odds of having a successful H1B transfer right now for someone working for a no-name body shop transferring to Infosys, doing as SWE job with degrees in an Engineering discipline that’s not CS or CE or Electrical Engineering? Infosys is telling them that they get very very low rejection rates.

I have been looking at the rejection reports since I am planning to take risk of jumping ship if I get a good opportunity. Most of the rejections/ ref I hear are due to mismatch in job description and person’s experience and degree. For example a mechanical engineer working as web solutions developer , program Manager with software background , product manager and such. Also , I guess in the current situation the candidate has to make sure the attorney describes the job role well and connects it effectively with the candidate’s experience. Check what Soc code is the transfer filed under. I guess this should help reduce rejection risks. Rest is luck

If the candidate’s experience matched with description well but educational qualifications do not match at all, what happens then?

I read a few rejections/ rfe in such cases. And that’s why I said the attorney should be smart enough to tie up why this mechanical or electrical engineering degree candidate fits the job role. Just my conclusion from what I have come across so far
