Anyone with computer science degree and working full time in a product based company got H1B denied for software engineer position?
Are you one of those? Tough luck
No, just evaluating. Have masters in US, both bachelors and masters in CS. Switching from Qualcomm to AMD. Software position with the same SOC code. Wage Level 3. Job description does specifically say Bachelors required, masters or PHD preferred with CS or EE. So evaluating.
I think you will be fine. But probably better to wait till PP comes back up next month
Don’t get too stressed about stupid visa situation. If you want to be successful, take the risk without thinking much
Haven't heard of anyone with a CS degree with reputed company getting denied. Heard of someone with bodyshopper past and non-CS degree get denied on transfer receipt even with 15 yoe work experience and a direct hire position in a pretty decent company in the Bay area. Reason cited: non-CS degree, which is BS since he did work in CS for 5 years in India before coming to the US.
