It’s a cosmetics company https://www.rodanandfields.com/
Do you want to work for a company that’s part pyramid scheme even if that isn’t your division? Think how that might look when someone quickly scans your resume when applying for your next role. It could easily lead to incorrect assumptions.
Zuora I understand but If this is the case then we should not work for the company like Google/FB as they sell users data to make money. It’s unethical also. Snapchat, tinder and tik-tik are in society destruction product. And many more companies like these.
No I’m pointing out a different problem. People don’t think Google employee is selling snake oil, they think wow smart engineer. RF doesn’t have that brand. You may lose job opportunities due to people misreading the resume
Isn’t that a pyramid scheme?
Pyramid is for the consultants only. And company has other departments where it has full time employment in Engineering/IT/Prod Mgmt jobs.
But why work corporate for a company you know is a pyramid scheme? I mean, for me, totally personally, no matter how good the money was I wouldn't have my talent used to support a company like that.
