Bunch of my friends have done MBAs from prestigious institutions and are working as consultants in BCG Bain Kearney etc. They literally slave away 70-80 hour weeks and then act as if they own the world with their "high" comp of 30-50L. It always cracks me up how MBAs are so full of themselves and have no clue about tech salaries. The assumption of being ONLY an undergrad and hence inferior is in the air๐ Should I assert dominance by revealing my TC? YOE: 6 TC: 1Cr (India) #tech #mba #tc #friday #bored
Asserting dominance? They're not your friends then
Yeah, go play with them a bit!! And btw what's your role?
Yeah, give them a hint ๐. If they have shared their TC then you should return the favor.
Yeah I just keep mum. Two of my friends from Kearney and BCG talk about how so much work is "worh the reward" and how can they can "retire early". Any ideas for how I drop hints๐
You can crib about how much tax you all are paying and still not getting anything in return ๐
Ofcourse, but keep it subtle
But isn't making them feel small the entire point ๐
