BigCommerce thoughts?
Has anyone worked there or currently worked there? Have any thoughts on the future of the company? Any chance it goes public and sees the success shopify has seen? Curious what the culture and outlook is like there.
Former BigCommerce employee. It depends on the department you're in. I was on the front line technical support team. Very toxic environment. Managers and tenured agents were regularly rude to others in Slack. If you said something about it, they would spin it around and say you were the one being rude. The most restrictive attendance policy I've ever seen in a call center environment. You're basically chained to your desk your entire shift. Very high turnover. Pay is well below industry standards. Salaried employees in other departments were treated much better.

I was not impressed with their culture/people when I interviewed with them many years ago. Not sure about now.
