Has anyone ever successfully used a recruitment agency to obtain a job in the tech sphere? I’m constantly filling out applications but I feel like I might be getting lost in the shuffle. I’m thinking maybe a recruitment agency may help to pair me with the right position. Help me out, peeps. 🫡
Teksystems is the worst, they only contact you to get your supervisor details to advertise their candidates. Beware of their recruiters.

Thanks everyone. Yall have been super helpful
Yes. You have to remember though, agencies work for the company and not for the candidate. They will look for the most suitable candidate and ignore everyone else
Makes sense. Know of any agencies?
I would nuance this and say agencies work for themselves. They optimize the spread between what they bill the client and what they pay you the contractor. Sometimes that means giving the client a lower caliber developer that will take less hourly.
