How y’all think abt Chubb in insurance industry
Work life is not great. Be expected to work a lot. Pay is ok. The reputation of the company is really good. Customers are very happy and it’s because everyone is working very hard.
Joined this year after loosing my sanity in strategy consulting. - Comp is high (way too high for they have you do) - People are friendly and available e.g., you can directly book a meeting with the region VP or the head of X if you want to get some feedback - Work is cyclical, be ready to be doing the same thing every Q4 - People here will say they work hard... from 9:30 to 5pm - Culture is people centric, company-wide email from the CEO to cancel all meetings in December to be with you family and enjoy the holidays - Business is good - Innovation is slow, change is on the horizon but it's insurance... few welcome change or ideas to improve because in the end: "it's profitable it's working, why bother"
It’s a reputable company, been around very long and will be around forever. Do you have specific questions?
Thanks for the response! Wondering how’s the management like. Heard they also have life business. How was their life business
I wouldn’t know that, but their website is a good way to find out. Or LinkedIn
