How is SIG's wlb and comp for SWE roles? Would they be able to pay 300k+ for 7yoe? #sig #tech
I don't think they pay that much.
The WLB is great. You won’t get that kind of comp perhaps. A buddy works there.
Why would anyone with 6YOE work there if they're not paying that much? Other Trading firms offer 300k for new grads
Bc you can make 300k and work 100 hour weeks or make a bit less and actually have time to enjoy your life. Not to mention 100k of your tc is likely a bonus that most people won’t even see as most won’t last a year at a place like citadel.
Look for quant devs roles. I don’t think even front office devs are paid that much
Sounds reasonable. Front office dev roles will pay that much for senior. Wlb is very team dependent but I’m happy with it. Standard hours are 8-5 and I don’t really think about work much after 5pm (on a front office team). Good flexibility too
Hi @harbulary_, I have a position at SIG that I am really interested in. I am comfortable in modern C++, multi-threading, and system design. I have done 450+ LC and am good with OOD too. Could you pls help me with a referral, Would be extremely grateful :)
Did u heat anything about comp. range from recruiter? I’m not 100% sure but 300k is unlikely except in few teams
Were you able to figure out the comp? I see their recent pay ranges shooting 400k in levelsfyi

How to invest in India as an NRI?
i hear it’s team dependent for wlb. Ur comp expectations are reasonable
