Where can I get best chai (tea) in Bay Area?
I’m part of this FB SOS travel group. This is a big group with Indians living internationally and people ask questions about emergency travel for themselves and their families. For every post you will find one or two Indian uncles or aunties judging the person, giving high moral gyaan instead of posting any helpful content. What surprises me that these are people living in western world for many years and yet they behave as if it is India in 1980s. How do we deal with these people? Just say FO?
What is SOS?
SOS is the emergency signal in Morse code

You cannot question your elders !!
That group is full of hypocrites. All those uncles and aunties have been living in the US for decades yet they have opinions about anything related to India. They are divorced yet they are relationship experts.
If it makes you any better all race uncles are the same
No way disagree
An Indian who left India in X year, believes India is still in that X year. I have lived mostly in India. But whenever I have interacted with the PIOs and NRIs , ufff .... no end to their condescending tone. They are more orthodox and conservative than my 90 year old Uncle living in Kanpur.
Fucking cancer all of those are. They moved abroad but nosing around habit stayed around
I just joined that group but didn't see any weird reply. Can you share screenshots or quotes?
Grow up
I will grow up, my life doesn’t end with this behavior but I do want to call this out. I have seen this pattern even with my coworkers. So much so that I have 100% success rate that if a manager lives in Redmond Ridge they will have history of micromanagement.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Just ignore them
