Why 2 different prices? Are they different quotes? I’ve an EV just not Tesla and looking to install a L2 socket.
OP who did you get the quotes from? Check out these two installers - Smart Charge America and Grayzer Electric. Get quotes from both and negotiate.

A 50A SquareD breaker is about 12 bucks. The copper is fair. Job would probably take a few hours. Honestly doesn't seem too bad at all.

Do you have a mobile charger? Why don’t you just install a 240v outlet in the garage? Should be much cheaper
Yeah but I got the Wall Charger already. I researched about the 240v outlet, but it was after I bought the Wall Charger so I decided that I will just live with it.
