Israel prevents Palestinians from gathering rainwater? Seems wrong on so many levels to me
The application for Staff Engineer has a mandatory question asking your GPA. Some of us out here pushing 40 are you really asking my GPA??
It's funny because GPA doesn't matter whatsoever. Booksmarts don't corrolate to being a good software engineer. In fact, most of the engineers I knew that had a perfect 4.0 were terrible engineers
When I interviewed at SpaceX during my final round of onsite (EM I think) actually asked my opinion on whether GPA matters. I argued it doesn’t and he disgrees. We debated for 30 mins. Ended up getting rejected after lmao. The guy has 4.0 GPA from Dartmouth or smthing and is a bit annoyed that I am dismissive of GPA
What? It does? I applied there a few months ago and I don’t even remember. Maybe just a field in the lever form that they forgot to change?
OP how was the interview? Did you get an offer?
🤣 you wanna apply there ?
Probably not but seems intriguing. I didn’t actually apply.
