If you’re trying to hire known talent the the biggest mistake they can make it putting them through the regular joe hiring process.
I’d believe it. I mean if you’re trying to hire Andrej Karpathy what do you think you’re gonna interview him on? At best you ask him what he wants to work on and try to convince him to join, that’s a conversation an exec would have with him. For top researchers that have publications and clear open source work a technical interview is a waste of time
You’d be surprised, but they would fail a leetcode interview
