Which company has happiest product management employees at lead/staff/principal level? Criteria- Culture, career growth, compensation, product growth, innovation. #pm #product #productmanager ##
Former Google Tech PM and no
What are the factors responsible for the unhappiness?
Affirm may be, there is guy on LinkedIn shares lot of wisdom on PM
LinkedIn is full of wisdom sharing PM’s
Wannabe PMs are all sharing. Doesn’t mean they are happy
None. PM teams usually have the lowest measures on team culture surveys everywhere.
What an odd assumption
This is true. It’s due to the nature of the work. It’s a very hard job that most are terrible at. There has to be lots of marketing around it to try to convince people to do it.
Not Amazon I can tell you that from Personal experience.
Agree 😩
Amazon
Lol 🤣
Meta!
There are no happy Product Managers at Meta. Lots of happy Perception managers, Optics Managers, Politics Managers. But these guys do not manage products, just impacccccccc.....
I am a very happy PM at Meta! Have been a PM at Google before this and I do like Meta slightly more. I like the opportunity for growth, higher compensation and maybe even slightly better perks. Key is I really enjoy the product I work on and work with some of the best freaking engineers! It’s overall a super happy place for me
You measure happiness by very different criteria than my PMs do.
How do yours measure it?

From Amazon and happy. For transparency, In my seven years at Amazon I have been unhappy for a total of approximately 8 months. Took action to change teams when I was unhappy and back to happiness.
In all fairness, the majority of time there I enjoyed but after some time i decided I was going to be happier rotating.
I'm in grocery currently and as you would expect... it sucks!
Apparantly (and almost) no one is supporting their own company....
Not Amazon, I presume
I am really happy. Getting paid 300K just for writings docs in word!
Lol, feel like a literature student 😂?
