The end of Backdoor Roth?!
I want to report harassment by Mathworks employee who’s currently working in Natick campus. This has created an unsafe situation for me. Is there a channel to report harassment ? Is there an ombudsman in Mathworks ? #mathworks #mathworksonsite #mathworksinterview #mathworkshiring
Contacting employers if not company location or job related, is illegal or might be a lawsuit later. You can contact police department or better an attorney. They might prepare a court order not to contact you anymore if possible.
Try and get evidence/records as best as you can. Keep communication via email/text. Record the situation using your phone where possible.
Did it happen on campus or related to a business function (sales call, company outing, etc…)? If so, just google the office and call the main number and ask to speak to an HR representative. If it’s someone who happens to be an employee but the incident is unrelated to anything to do with their work, then call the police.
If it’s an unsafe situation, you call the police.
This is giving me revenge vibes. You're gonna need to give a real reason man. Do you even work at Mathworks?
Contacting HR can be a risky strategy, as they generally have a "duty to report" internally. As a first step, try contacting HR anonymously to inquire if there are ombuds services available. Ombuds are confidential, independent, informal, neutral, and have no duty to report unless certain serious harm may result. An alternative would be contacting an employment attorney for assessment and counsel based on what has happened. Lastly, as others have recommended, if this is a truly unsafe setting, file a report at the police station where the incident(s) occurred.
Sir this is a Wendy's
Gee maaan. Someone is asking for help for a serious issue. Don't be a douche if you can't help
