Has Google stopped Hiring?
From the topics in Blind, it looks like Google is just interviewing and putting everyone in the team matching process, but not actually hiring. Is this true? If you have been hired, have you actually had your first day at Google yet?

Yeah, I passed HC and got stuck in team match :( joined Amazon instead. But still it's kinda annoying And of course blind is like hurr you're dumb for only going to Amazon but Facebook recruiters said stopped responding when I said I had 2 YOE (they said there was a hiring freeze before 5 YOE), google just ghosts me after months in team match, and Netflix is senior only lol. Like damn

As a random data point, I just went through the process and will start my new role at Google in a few weeks. I went through for a manager position though with a specialized skillset/background.
Yes I've been delayed since April until end of September. But I guess I'm almost there since my recruiter has been updating me decently frequently and we're still on track with only a couple weeks left.
I was matched with a team two months back...
My buddy got interviewed and matched within the last month, so no I wouldn't say there's some hiring freeze. He went through 5 different teams though
