Microsoft had the reputation of being a boomer town with boring products. With their OpenAI integration there’s a buzz about what new innovation they will bring.
Satya should be called A-satya.
😅
Copied from web for those who may not know the meaning of satya Beyond simply “not lying,” practicing satya means living in a way that aligns with your highest truth. It's about being honest with yourself, honest with others, and refraining from judgment — making sure that you speak and act with thought and intention (not just saying whatever is on your mind).
Heard Redmond office still serves idli & dosa Can’t work with late 30s mallus with heavy accent
That is why you will stay a mailing chimp 😆
Don’t be triggered but worlds worst managers are mallus
I feel like Satya mainly got lucky as he became CEO in 2014, in the very early stage of the longest bull market rally in history. To be fair most tech companies all did pretty well and grew a lot during this period(up until 2022), so I think it’s debatable how much of Microsoft’s growth was due to Satya’s leadership and how much of it was just low interest and good macroeconomic environment. He’s an ok leader, but when I ask people from Microsoft what exactly is great about him, mostly they just talk about the stock price but can’t think of much else specific. It also helps that the previous CEO before him is Balmer so the bar is set pretty low. But if Satya had become CEO in 2000 instead of 2014 and then had to lead Microsoft during the dot com bubble burst and then the Great Recession, I wonder if he could’ve done much better than Balmer did.
Yes ! Microsoft is the best ! Layoff May be some more
Satya made msft into a stealth layoff machine.
I wish they pip instead of layoff
