Has anyone from JPM India office made a switch to JPM US office via IJP?
I applied via IJP and got a response. The recruiter was not sure about the transfer process or even if it possible or not, as he said he hasn't seen this happening before. I don't want to ask my manager at this early stage. Can someone please share their experience regarding this? #workvisa #h1b

L1B possible. But as i said it is mostly on hiring manager. He/She/They have to get the business case approved. Most of the times the one major question that hiring manager are not able to convince is why you, why now and why not hire locally?? If HM can pull it off… visa and relocation pkg etc are secondary
Very difficult without an actual pull and business case from hiring manager. Basically they need to answer the question is the cost to move you is justifiable? Why can’t they hire locally? Do you already have an existing H1B then things might be different
No, I don't have H1B. Do you know whether L1B is possible or JPM only tries for H1B?
