Have you seen your friends naked?
Men of blind — settle this argument for me (European) and my friend (Indian). I think it’s normal to change in front of your friends — what’s the big deal? If you’re both guys then why be shy? It’s just a few seconds where you’ll be naked, it’s not sexual at all. My friend, who’s Indian, is totally grossed out by this — he says it’s weird to have seen your friends’ dicks, even if it’s in locker rooms. Obviously, I’m not saying you seek out your friends naked, but it’s really no big deal to change in front of them. TC 320k

Western culture of locker rooms where men change naked in the same room comes from ancient Greece. Read https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gymnasium_(ancient_Greece) Indians weren't exposed to the gymnasium culture hence the culture shock.
As a European, it's not like being naked in the locker room is comfortable. I change relatively quickly and aren't like jumping around or doing helicopters with my buddies. I have some friends that just stand there chatting with their junk out and that's kind of weird.
Your friend comes from a culture with heavily repressed sexuality. Give them some space.
Seen in my college during our freshman year ragging. Our whole class of ~100 man were asked to get naked. It was a competition of dick length measurement and then there were titles awarded for longest and shortest

Non Indian here. If you are changing in the locker room, usually you don’t look around when people are disrobing. There is a good Seinfeld episode in this topic. Apparently, you’re Kramer here.
