I had an interview last week with ClickUp, seems like a serious product shop and they make you jump through a lot of hoops in interviews. I am not sure I want to put in the time, especially since they made it seem like base salary would be low and most would be equity. To be fair, they ARE growing at a crazy rate. Anybody know more about them? Pay? Culture? #clickup # #pm #product #productmanager
Check previous posts, lots of red flags. Also my SWE offer was more cash heavy.
They just raised $400m at a $4bn valuation. They hit a $80m revenue run rate in 2021. That's a 50x multiplier. I assume the public market correction will reach the private markets. That means if you join now, you'll spend a 1-2 years w/ no upside from your ISOs. IMO better to join a public co that's already been corrected. Unless they pay top percentile base salary.
RIP WLB.
