Health Plan for Microsoft living in Seattle

The Premera connect plan has no in-network primary care providers in Seattle, only in East side. Which plan do you then choose? I'm leaning towards the HSA, but I don't know if that has better options in Seattle. I don't want to go all the way to Redmond if I'm feeling unwell if I live in Seattle (Capitol Hill, for example).

Doesn’t MS have in house clinic?

Oracle ovahFlow OP Mar 13, 2020

That's in Redmond. If I live in Seattle I don't want to have to commute 40+minutes to see a doctor. I would certainly use the clinic when convenient.

You can use the Premera HSA plan with literally any doctor. Does not have to be in network.

Right, but for preventative visits and treatments and primary care doesn't it need to be in network to be 100% covered?

If you use the Premera HSA it's BlueCross and PPO, so I sure you can find a doctor near you.

What are the health insurance options offered by Microsoft in California? Any help is appreciated.

You have two options: The HSA mentioned here, or a California exclusive Kaiser Permanente HMO plan.
