I am a Revenue Cycle Analyst at a large hospital. I come from a healthcare background, have my Masters in Health Administration and 3+ yoe in large hospitals/headquarters. I am now learning sql on my own, proficient in excel and tableau. I would like to stay in revenue and healthcare. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I feel like NYP or other prestigious health systems are becoming much more tech forward these days? Have you thought about internal opportunities within NYP or at NYU for instance? Otherwise EPIC?
I believe the same thing and that maybe a reason why I don’t want to completely switch to health tech. I believe when I finish learning sql and python I’ll be more prepared for such roles esp with Epic (which is a great emr system)
DM for a referral at my current company. Startup environment, hiring for a role focused on a new healthcare product launched 2 years ago. Your background may be perfect fit. SQL ideal but not required
Check out the job board for Optum/UHC. Plenty of rev cycle jobs or dev cycle consultant jobs. DM for more info and referral.
