Are there any healthcare companies with good salaries for engineering leadership positions? Not looking for FAANG levels of course, but something reasonable (i.e. not under 200k manager-level roles). Ideally mid-size startup. TC: 250k YOE: >15 #healthcare #jobs #engineeringmanagement
Check out Solv Health. Great company with an awesome mission. Culture is one of the best and pay is pretty good

23andMe, they are branching into therapeutics along with the current genetics data research.

While a good company, they don’t pay well
lol no I’m getting interviews with remote jobs (not based in Bay Area) with around a 50% salary increase. But they are a good company with great WLB.
Checkout Exact Sciences. It is growing and it is a great place to be. Salaries are comparable with the FAANGs.
It might be a good place to be but not sure about comp being that great. Talked them recently and sr director position was only about 230k base, 25% bonus with 100k equity vested over 4years.
Yup 👍 we are #1 in the mental health space.
Lyra therapeutics?
Nurx!
Do you have a particular interest in healthcare, or are you just trying to effect good on the world? Either way I had an offer from Oscar for sr director of eng, at around 500k. Obviously pretty far from faangs and the like, but I would assume, based on that payband, that EMs get paid at least 200k. I am fairly sure flatiron health would pay similarly as well.
Just want to give my time to a company that is doing something good for human well-being. At the same time, I can’t deny that the word of faang and their offers are tempting.
We pay much more than that. EM/senior SWE gets 300k-350k based on exp here. I dunno the sr direcotor comp, but 500k probably long ago?
