Hey Blind Community!! I am confused between these two offers and need some guidance from you! Context: I am on a H1-B visa and I was laid off a month ago. YOE: 3-4 years. Both job roles are senior level positions in data analytics. Neustar (a TransUnion company): • High Revenue, High number of employees • A branded company, so I assume better stability • TC $132k • Will file for Green card after a year • Hybrid (20% travel which I don't mind) • ESPP Prosper Marketplace: • Medium sized company • Good work culture • TC $148k • Will file for a Green card upon joining • Lots of funding, dont know if its good or bad • Remote • Stock Options #tech #data #salarycompensation #offers #laidoff #h1b #neustar #prosper #tech #help #layoff #layoffs #dataanalytics #multipleoffers #offer #help #blind
The filing for the green card immediately is worth its weight in gold.
Thats a big hook for me (you are talking about Prosper, right?)
Yep. One year can make a whole lot of difference and it's better to be in the queue than to now be joining the queue.
I will go with the one that offers you to file for a Green card immediately after joining, that’s the most important perk in my opinion.
As your first priority is to maintain your status I would recommend joining one who has already hired h1b's in the past (google past H1B info) and still holding their offer considerably companies rescinded their offer during this time.
Thanks! Both of the companies have good data on H1B filing and both offers are still valid
great, then prosper with Prosper 👍
