I have below confirmed offers FB - E5 - Seattle Uber - L5a - Seattle (Great interview experience, nice team) Compass - Senior - Seattle(Team seems to have great roadmap and growth plans) ByteDance - 2-2 - MTV(I am non-chinese but the interviewers were all asian. I felt they were collaborative and encouraging) WayFair - L4 - Boston (Team seems to have a great future expansion plans, and great interview experience) Amazon - L5 - Seattle - Low ball - so not in consideration DoorDash - L5 - Seattle I will create the poll once I have numbers from them but seems like most of them will be close/beyond 400k TC. At the moment, I wanted to know about future growth potential, Team selection, challenging work, tech-stack, WLB and work culture. Interview feedbacks were all great specially around the system design and behavioral, coding in some of them was little rusty. Please feel to provide your suggestions in comments. Thank you fellow blinders. TC - 270, 7 yoe #facebook #wayfair #compass #amazon #doordash #uber #bytedance
Wayfair L4 isn’t 400K Tc but fucking nice dude . Boston is abt the same cost as seattle after you include Seattle’s no tax benefit . Bytedance will probably have an amazing IPO so it’s the best choice in terms of $s FB can beat all competing offers so push it down the road and get other offers first or go bytedance. how did you prep?
feel free to dm me but fb has some limit on max offer and some of them are willing to beat that.
What was your timeframe of performing these final rounds?
Gave all interviews in 2-3 weeks. Some split into multiple days.
Did u ask all the companies to generate offer and then sent those offer emails for negotiation?
Tough to say without numbers Still I would say Fb
Facebook Seattle has 100+ teams open, you'd get to choose, and growth beyond that level isn't rare. Glad to chat if you'd like.
But people also saying lately in bkind thay at fb there is tough time to find good projects to make an impact Is this true ?
@mr_siz would love to get some wisdom on that line from you, will dm in sometime when I am closer to making decision.
Uber or FB
Can you elaborate more?
Unless you are CN speaker, Bytedance is a dead end.
How long did Wayfair take from interviews to decision? Asking for a friend because it’s been a week and it seems like they’re being ghosted.
5 days including weekend
Thanks for responding. Too bad they have to resort to ghosting.
OP how long did DD take to get back after the final onsite? I had a final round last week and still haven't heard back from them.
DD is famous for ghosting. @YGzg03 did you ever hear back from them?
I interviewed with them in May for a final onsite round. Rejection after 3 weeks of following up, no feedback provided when requested. Pretty shitty experience tbh
So what's your decision?
What is ur current level at MS?
