I have been searching for a new opportunities from almost two months and could crack some of the interviews after many rejects. McAfee Role: Senior Software Engineer Cloud TC - 170K Remote role Verbal - negotiating JPMC Role: VP 603 TC: 175K Local office - Dallas Texas Verbal - negotiating CBRE Role: Principal Software Engineer TC: 180K Local office - Dallas Texas Offer in hand vmWare - Tanzu Labs Role: Solution Architect P4 TC: 230K Local office + Travel UpTo 50% Verbal - negotiating I know, vmWare shines above all with compensation, but I do not have any connections there to know about culture and work-life balance. Moreover, its consulting department of vmWare, it will have travel. I am not able to decide, which one to choose. Not only looking at TC but also thinking of other parameters which might affect future growth or carrier path based on company culture. Which team members and manager did you like best?
vmWare team the best team I have interacted with till now for whatever interviews I have given. I am not sure if it would be the same team I would be working on. I likes the way interviews were conducted and driven from start to end, all 5 of them for vmWare.

You won’t survive in vmware as it’s core technical and you worked as manager in your previous job.

How on earth do you get different role offers?
I tried applying almost everywhere after getting rejects initially when I was picky for the roles and companies.
Tanzu is mostly coding in day to day job .. if you are hands on .. go for VMW ..
