Help me in negotiation and choosing location
I gave interview in Verizon and last week recruiter reached out to me for my background check. Does it mean I almost got the offer? because I was waiting for another informal interview round. They mentioned its a hybrid role so you need to move one of the following locations. Which one should I consider interms of long term? South Asian community, desi food and overall best atmosphere with cheap living so I can save more. Also I am really bad in negotiation. Desi food in the Tampa Bay Area sucks. Irving has a great selection of restaurants though. So does NJ.
nj has high taxes.
Texas is a great place to live, nice and big houses, big airport in the area, lot’s of fun things to do… cost of living has been growing in the past few years, but nothing crazy. Asian community is pretty big in DFW too…
@rfev83 yes I am also thinking abt Dallas TX but I am confused about tampa FL too. I heard we have huge community there as well and its low cost too
Dallas is hot and dry… tampa is hot and humid… Dallas has lakes, Tampa has beaches. Do your research and see what you prefer… Once I had to choose and I chose Dallas… never regretted.
