Got NG offers from both companies. Please help me evaluate and comment the reasons. Stubhub TC ~250k: base ~150k + RSU ~100k per year across 4 years (NYC) - Cons: - Low company ratings - Start discussion about H1B and green card 6 months after start date (doesn’t support H1B 2025 lottery, lose 1 shot) - Too much paper money, not sure when IPO - Pros: - Higher base salary - Better food at NYC - Bar seems higher (almost all other offer holders have great resumes) Affirm TC first 2 years ~261k: base 137k + RSU 4000 over 3 years + 2400 over 2 years (SF), first 2 years get 2533 RSU, with stock price 49 (price after Q3 earnings released) = ~124k - Cons: - Lower base salary - Pros: - Can work fully remotely after first year (same base salary in certain states) - Support H1B 2025 lottery - Start green card process 3 months after start date - Culture seems better - Better benefits (monthly wallets, unlimited PTO, premiums 100% covered, away days, health days) - Live closer to my friends and partner - Instability of stock price - Fast promotion? (HR said on average NG takes ~18 months to next level) TC: 250k #engineering #software #swe #StubHub #Affirm #Offer #NG

Hi May i ask refferal for affirm?
how was interview process at stubhub?
Stubhub is also unlimited pto
It has 12 paid holidays on 2023 benefits summary. Not sure about pto.
I mean i work here, we have unlimited pto.
living closer to friends and partner seems like it would be more important no?
How is Affirm New Grad TC 250k? Can you share the split of your TC
It's possible to push for higher base (with reduced equity) for StubHub
Seems like you need sponsorship which isn’t something to play around about. Affirm seems like the better choice in that aspect. StubHub does provide sponsorship but idk the process around it
stubhub does sponsorship. pretty easy process.
Stubhub is another Amazon. Affirm is really good as company.
disagree
lol what? Affirm is going through layoffs while we are hiring across all teams and the business is thriving. Furthest thing from “another Amazon”
