Help negotiating offer
Got an offer for a Toronto startup thats already profitable and estimates themselves to be worth around 100m. offer: 155k CAD base + 0.1% of the company what i currently make: 200k TC USD (145k base etc etc) im originally from canada and 4 yoe.

Have something lined up Aurora, they said they could do 180k USD base + stock but I’m not sure how much stock. Also self driving cars are risky (but I love cars)

you can use that offer (or even interview, i imagine toronto startups are probably desperate) as leverage for some range

Can you PM me the startup? It’s up to you where you want to live, do you want to move back to Toronto? Or are you happy where you are
