Starting up the job hunt and want to land a job at FAANG (or something equivalent). Trying to see if this study plan sounds good: 1) Run through JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures Masterclass Udemy Course (already purchased it a while back) 2) Go through Data Structure Study Plan on Leetcode https://leetcode.com/study-plan/data-structure/ 3) Go through Algorithm Study Plan on Leetcode https://leetcode.com/study-plan/algorithm/ 4) Go through top 50 easy, then top 50 medium on Leetcode 5) Go through the Google, Facebook, Microsoft Interview prep on Leetcode (https://leetcode.com/explore/interview/card/google/) 6) Grokking System Design + YouTube videos (any recommendations for System Design) Can anyone recommend any other guides/resources and if so, what order to do them in. I have interviewed at FAANG and elsewhere in the past and didn't get offers. Definitely wasn't prepared, so this time I want to make sure I am ready to go. Also, for data structures and algorithms, what order would you review/learn them in? Current TC: 210k, 6YOE #Interviews #FAANG #leetcode #google #facebook #uber
This sounds good. Remain dedication and stay to the plan Why are you stopping at top 50 medium? Include some hards, and Alex Xu and system design primer are great resources as well. Don't forget most important Mocks and use tier 2/3 as practice
Good point. This was more just a initial plan. Once I get through this is when I would start scheduling onsites and during that would redo some of the mediums and start doing some hard ones as well. When you say important Mocks, are you talking about the Mock Interview questions on Leetcode?
Interviewing.io, pramp/exponent etc. Both paid and unpaid if you have time
Explore cards out of date, just do tagged
Good to know, thank you!
Medium questions have the best ROI.
I’d axe most of the easy questions and do the top 10 most common hard ones. More likely to show up and will probably benefit you more
Good point. I was more thinking starting with the easy ones just to get my feet wet and back into the Leetcode mindset. Probably would knock them out really quick.
