Hey Pandora. Never thought I'd say this in 2017 but your new app is something special. Congrats

Hadn't used Pandora for years and got an email for a 60 day trial of "premium". Curious what the dinosaurs of streaming music had made so I downloaded the app. Turns out it's the same app just their paid $10 a month tier. Anyways I fire it up it felt like I was just using Rdio at first with more features, but when i was able to create playlists from just picking one song in search and a button popped up asking if I wanted more like this?" it filled it with songs i would have added and one band I never heard of but im a fan of them now. That was for me at least the moment that I felt they weren't competing to have the largest catalog where you spend a lot of time curating before you can listen to music. pandora got me listening to great music in a few button presses and seemed to have feature parity with the other $10 services and the simple design of the UI makes Spotify look dated. Lastly, kudos to the marketing team; not sure if that was in-house or outsourced but that gorillaz ad is awesome. And I can only assume this polish and simplicity to the app came from the Rdio team. Really impressive execution. Some gripes. Hurry up with family plans and a web version before these trials run out. That said I never would have guessed Pandora to have a v1 launch that I'm enjoying more than my Spotify subscription.
