Time for Biden to bring down the hammer on China? https://krebsonsecurity.com/2021/03/at-least-30000-u-s-organizations-newly-hacked-via-holes-in-microsofts-email-software/
China can't progress as a country if they don't have our IP to rip off. Time for an embargo
No one should anymore buy the MSFT line of Zero Trust, we do SDLC and are Secure By Design stuff and are the most compliant Cloud. Utter bullshit. The Solarwinds breach has to have gone far and wide inside MSFT and it was a fluke by FireEye that they found it. Ask anyone off record in Redmond and they’ll say they literally don’t know what’s going to hit next. Microsoft execs need to sit down, and tell the Dev teams to start writing all services and products from the ground up. There is just too much technical debt in all that legacy code thats held together by a bandaid of service packs and patches. For customers, MS Execs especially the flag bearers of righteousness in the Exec rank and file should really stop gloating about ‘others got breached too’. You got caught with your pants down, period. Own up and fix this shit.
Rewrites don't fix problems on this scale. The rewrite would be worse. But agreed, MS needs a serious look inward.
The complete security community is a shitshow right now and it's not just the fault of big tech. Government should kick in and set clear boundaries
Biden is a useless old tool.
So insecure MSFT software caused this and you’re asking Biden to do something instead of fixing your code?
Why is China attacking us? We should stop trading with them.
You think US doesn’t do the same? If there is buggy insecure software, there are lots of bad actors who are going to take advantage of it. Forget China, even domestic bad actors can do a lot of damage to innocent users. Maybe MSFT should focus on building secure systems.
Biden just wants his brother and Hunter to make money from those China hammers.
Lmao imagine thinking Biden will do anything about China.
Is it like impossible for Microsoft to build a secure service?
Slight difference between a bug exposing people's names, age and email address vs giving complete access to someone's machine. But sure, BuT GoOgLe HaD a BuG!
