So I’m interviewing at both Argo and Aurora for a System Engineering position. Both have similar projects in L4 autonomous trucking. Argo - tie ups with Ford, VW and L4 trucking. Pre IPO, supposedly will go public “next year”. Seems to be more Silicon Valley types with a lot of missing processes under the pretext of Agile. Aurora - tie ups with Toyota and L4 trucking. Has already gone IPO. High profile executives that are well known and seem to have the right mindset for engineering a product right even under investor pressure. I finished the panel interviews at both and will likely receive offers from both. If that happens, which one is a better company to work for, assuming TC is the same? Blind tax: current TC $250k at Rivian
If we're in trucking then I've been sleep this whole time.
So Aurora it is then?
Looks like there is going to be a mass departure from Rivian once the stock vests in May.
Both are good IMO...Choose based on manager
Waymo Sause: ex Argo, ex Uber ATG, Aurora
I'm curious, can you lay out pros and cons of all 3?
