Recently, I found a guy working at NASA who has a YouTube channel about productivity
Easier now in 2024, but likely to hire contractors that is currently working through the big contract companies vs outsiders
Ever tried?
Yeah I had an offer but as I stated, easier for contractors already working with NASA to get first find. They get a list of candidates but branch managers can also prioritize with justification... Even if you don't have the relative experience of that group
I worked at Google before but I hated the culture and moved to Amazon, not sure if NASA is better
Marshall, MSFC is good and it depends on the team you work for. Pay will be low, but no stress, but you get a pension and medical when you retire
Nice, thanks for sharing. I donβt have any plan applying there at all tho
Its a joke getting a job at nasa. Bad pay plus relocation. They dont have a lot of corporate offices like big tech so relocation is annoying as well.
I apply every year to be an astronaut. Havenβt even gotten a screening call yet π€·ββοΈ
βAs engineerβ not astronaut :)
i think i've seen that guy before. as a swe it's easier but he has a phd and at nasa jpl so I would guess pretty hard. phds run the place since it's caltech, everyone else are worker bees i've heard
Currently, it is very difficult due to budget issues. Generally, the interviews themselves are not too bad (it depends on the team) but getting noticed in the first place is tough. Having graduate degrees helps.
Not that hard and easier than Google.
Ever tried?
