Confirm whether you like coding or not by doing “100 days of code - Python” on Udemy (can easily be done in 6 weeks if you’re dedicated. If you enjoy that complete Coursera Princeton Algorithms 1 & 2 + Stanfords Algorithms 1 & 2 (write down all the code and read all the lecture notes) Next start grinding firecode.io (an easier Leetcode) Once you’re comfortable with that, start grinding Leetcode If you’re a quick learner, in about 12-18 months of casually setting aside 10 hours per week you should be ready for SWE interviews
