Just curious if anyone has recommendations on the best companies to work if you are a 20+ year firewall and network security expert? Currently at Palo Alto Networks, but having challenges with my team culture and micro management Looking for senior Evangelist/Solutions Architect/Engineer positions with a very strong focus on SASE/Firewall/Security that are 400+ TC Last time I was looking Zscaler compensation was terrible! #cybersecurity #sase #ngfw #firewall #security
Compensation is still terrible at Zscaler and the culture is even worse. There is micromanagement all the way up from the CEO and the sales process is heavily scrutinized. They do not have FLEXWORK or any of the benefits that you most likely currently have. I would check Google or elsewhere.
That is not good to hear. Thank you for the insights. I didn't even get past talking to the recruiter last time when I mentioned TC at $400k+ He came back with a pretty standard package and $50k RSU's per year. Not to mentioned their share price getting slammed recently :(
How do you define your expertise ? Try and see if you can get promoted here. Perhaps try Cloud Sec for a change of pace

If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
Amazon is pretty awesome. I’m a l6 at 415k TC, recently promoted
Thank you. I have heard that WLB is not great. How is it for you? Are they still doing annual ~10% cuts, because having that looming all the time would really suck
Wow that's low for L6. Is it 415k bc of the stock dump? Bc damn boi. That's pennies for an L6 job. But I know some L6s in some departments be chilling
