High paying companies in Dallas, TX area
Are there any high paying software companies in DFW area? What would be good TC for lead software engineer? Yoe: 12 years TC: 100k
Not really and without much context I haven’t heard of many tech jobs going higher than 150k in the area. They may exist but not sure where
Hedge funds
CapitalOne was hiring like crazy over the past year or so (at least in UX) and I’ve heard they pay pretty well. Otherwise fintech is probably the highest pay in the area (same in HTX). If you’re willing to move to HTX, TC (excluding pension) with that experience at XOM is 150-200, and we’re hiring.
AFAIK capOne does not do sponsorship. For now, I am trying to avoid the pain of moving with family. Hence looking in Dallas area itself.
TI can pay more than that for external hires... with MS my first year at TI >100k TC including sign on/relo/profit sharing. You look like you’re way underpaid
What kind of job does TI have for a software engineer? I mostly see roles relevant for electronics major.
They have mcu groups for msp430 or c2000 processors with embedded software engineers
7/11 in Irving pays well and does sponsorship.
