From an emoloyer point of view, they could not care less. If they need to lay people off they will do it no matter where you are coming from. From an employee point of view (I was on an O1 and currently permanent resident), it's nothing like getting your GC in hand and knowing that if anything happens to you professionally, you don't have to pack your shit and leave the country in 60 days. Dobby is freeeeeeeeee!
